Tonight as I close my eyes
I know not if there'll be a tommorow.
Yet plan i do for happiness,
Lost in rosy dreams of you.
I drift into the hazy clouds as
Warm in your arms i lie in my dreams,
Close as ever i know i will be
For certainly dreams they will ever be
Not blossom into flames of passion.
Smile for me while i can see
For tomorrow may never be
Come close to me in my feverish dreams
Be mine now forever
Though all i have is only moments.
Come walk with me, hold my hand
Guide me through my muddled mind
My love for you will never abate
Though blown away i am by storms.
Too long i have been alone
Searched for what has long been gone,
Now at the end of my days i seek
Love, peace and you by my side.
